In northern Syria, thousands of families continue to live under harsh conditions due to delays in reconstruction efforts and the lingering effects of past crises. The need for shelter grows day by day amid scarce alternatives and a lack of stability. In such a reality, the tent becomes more than just a temporary shelter; it is a simple cover, a symbol of hope that protects from exposure, and a temporary refuge that preserves what remains of human dignity.
As part of its ongoing humanitarian response, the Jisr Al-Taawon Humanitarian Association launched a tent supply and distribution project to provide shelter for families who lack the most basic living conditions and have found no alternative but open fields or overcrowded shelters.
This project comes at a time when pressure inside the camps is increasing and the need for solutions to ease the suffering of displaced families is more urgent than ever — especially as temporary conditions persist far longer than intended.
