YKD participates in WHAF held in Istanbul

The World Humanitarian Action Forum (WHAF) launched work in Istanbul, on Tuesday, under the slogan “Human Dignity” as part of efforts to achieve greater coordination with the aim of meeting the need to address the existing humanitarian crises. The two-day forum, hosted by the Turkish Red Crescent, aims to strengthen relations between humanitarian organizations and increase partnerships. It is worth noting that more than 50 international organizations and 180 local organizations from 65 countries were participating in the forum.

In addition, the Bridge of Humanitarian Cooperation Association (YKD) participated in this forum. Mr. Sohail Nizamoglu, the External Relations Officer, said the forum strengthens the communication between donors and implementing institutions in conflict and war zones.
