As the holy month of Ramadan approaches, Yardım Köprüsü Association is preparing to launch a package of humanitarian projects in both Gaza and Syria, aiming to alleviate the suffering of vulnerable families and support them during this blessed month that embodies the values of compassion and solidarity.
These preparations come amid difficult humanitarian conditions faced by thousands of families, as the impacts of ongoing crises continue to affect daily life and deepen poverty and need—particularly among widows, children, and the elderly.
This year’s Ramadan projects include the distribution of food parcels to meet families’ basic needs, alongside Ramadan iftar meals intended to bring warmth and reassurance to fasting households, especially in the most affected areas. The projects also feature Eid clothing to restore a sense of joy for children who have been deprived of it, in addition to fresh vegetable parcels to support food security and improve dietary diversity for beneficiary families.
The association places special emphasis on supporting widows, providing assistance that helps them cope with life’s challenges and meet their families’ needs, based on the belief that empowering and supporting women is a cornerstone of community resilience.
Yardım Köprüsü Association affirms that these projects go beyond providing aid; they carry a profound humanitarian message that giving in Ramadan is a bridge of hope connecting hearts and strengthening the values of solidarity and humanity. The association also calls upon generous donors to contribute to these initiatives and become partners in delivering hope to those most in need.
