The Bridge of Humanitarian Cooperation Association (YKD) concludes distribution of Udhiyah meat (sacrificial meat) project to poor families in Palestine

The Bridge of Humanitarian Cooperation Association (YKD) concluded today the distribution of sacrificial meat to needy families in the Gaza Strip governorates.

Dr. Nabil Sammour, Director General of the Association, said that the distribution of sacrificial meat included needy families, widows, orphans, handicapped, and the families of the wounded. The association distributed more than 3500 kilograms of meat to the beneficiary families in partnership with several institutions and associations, pointing out that this project come within the role of the YKD in providing assistance to the needy and vulnerable groups of the Palestinian society and drawing smiles on their faces in Eid Al-Adha.”

“This project is part of relief projects implemented by the association in the Gaza Strip,” Sammour said, adding that the association seeks to meet the needs of citizens through the implementation of the sacrificial meat distribution project, especially in light of siege, poverty and widespread unemployment among the Palestinian families.

The Board of Directors of the association expressed its deep thanks to all sponsors and donors of the project. The beneficiaries of the project also expressed their gratitude to the Indonesian and Turkish people for their assistance in light of the difficult situation in the Gaza Strip.
