The Bridge of Humanitarian Cooperation Association (YKD) provides an ambulance to the Palestinian Ministry of Health in the Gaza Strip
The Palestinian Ministry of Health in the Gaza Strip has received an ambulance equipped with all necessary medical supplies from The Bridge of Humanitarian Cooperation Association (YKD).
Dr. Nabil Sammour, the General-Director of the Association, said that those who will benefit from the ambulance services are the sick and wounded, where they will be transported in appropriate health conditions to nearby hospitals; Sammour added that the presence of this car with high medical equipment will indeed be an added value that will inevitably have an impact on the social and health level in the Strip.
The spokesman of the Ministry of Health, Dr. Ashraf Al-Qedra, extended his sincere thanks to the YKD and the Indonesians who keep providing exceedingly generous aid to the Palestinians. Al-Qedra also stated that the ministry is in urgent need of ambulances after the Israeli army destroyed more than 25 ambulances during the previous wars. It is worth noting that the ambulance provided by the association is fully equipped as it will save the lives of many of the 20,000 wounded during the great marches of return, which are still ongoing until today.
