The second Family Life Forum 2019, entitled ‘Chapters of Life to Tell’, was launched in Istanbul, Turkey, with the presence of 600 participants from around 40 countries. The forum included seminars and workshops on the families’ quality of life in light of conflict and war, and how to improve and develop the quality of life of these families. It also shed light on transferring the communities’ experiences that have succeeded in improving their quality of life.

Participants reviewed several points between the concept of sustainability and the achievement of quality of life for families, especially those headed by women. The conference was attended by the chairman, the general manager of the association and a group of employees.

The Director-General of the Association, Dr. Nabil Sammour, said that the goal of family promotion and the empowerment of women’s role in society are essential in light of the injustice endured by the families in conflict zones, especially the Middle East regions such as Yemen, Palestine, and Syria.
